Arcatera: The Dark Brotherhood Description
Arcatera is an adventure game with many RPG elements in the medieval fantasy world. The game is characterized by a non-linear storyline, allowing you to freely direct the actions of their characters and developing into ten possible endings.
The game was created on the basis of a huge world of paper role-playing games and is based on similar principles. The game starts in the town of Senora on the edge of the huge Kandt forest. The city is inhabited by 80 different NPCs, not waiting idly for the action to develop, but living their own affairs.
From the paper version, the combat system was adapted almost entirely, transferring it only into the world of computers. However, the fight takes place in real time and players do not have to worry about every aspect of the game in a single game queue. At any time we can stop the fight and plan further strategy, controlling every single action.
- An interesting combination of aspects of discovering the world, character development and fighting in real time.
- Total freedom to perform tasks that can be solved in several ways.
- The time taken to resolve the main secrecy is limited to three weeks in real time.
- More than ten possible endings of the game.
