Mechanics

Arboria is a TPP roguelite action game, and thus the game is focused on a rather demanding real-time fight, where you have to pick the right moment to attack or dodge before hitting your opponents. The hero of the game is a tree warrior from the Yotun tribe, who has been equipped with symbiotic weapons and mutations, thanks to which he can use appropriate tactics depending on the enemy. In the game you will also find more difficult battles with bosses, each of which requires an individual approach.

Death of a character is associated with starting again and the difficulty level is adjusted to the player's skills. Therefore, the better you fight, the stronger your enemies will be. During the game, however, it is possible to develop the hero, which makes it easier to overcome further obstacles. The player can improve not only the features of the hero, but the wide range of abilities of the Chosen One.

Although the action takes place in the dark undergrounds of Durnar, the locations are generated randomly, giving the impression of being unique in each subsequent game.

Technical aspects

The graphics in Arboria, which was developed on the popular Unreal Engine 4, is fully three-dimensional. We visit mainly the dark undergrounds of Durnar filled with various types of plants and trees. During the fights, special attention should be paid to the visual effects that appear using the unique abilities of Yotun warriors.
