Story
In Aoki Ookami to Shiroki Mejika the player takes on the role of Temujin - legendary ruler, who at the age of 20 began the process of unification of lands inhabited by Mongols. When he was successful, he called himself Genghis Khan and his aim was to conquer whole Eurasia.
Mechanics
The mechanics of Aoki Ookami to Shiroki Mejika are closely related to the story layer. While our initial task is to conquer the Mongolian lands on the pretext of the need to unite them, as we make progress, we will be able to attack other regions of Europe and Asia. The game takes place on a tactical map in a turn-based system, and its formula resembles the one used in Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Generals play an important role, and proper management of them is crucial to victory - they are the ones who can give orders to our army during battles. Of course, it is not without significance to ensure the prosperity of our country and to provide soldiers with technological facilities.
Technical aspects
Aoki Ookami to Shiroki Mejika's visuals do not differ from the original released more than thirty years earlier. An additional barrier is the language - the game is available only in Japanese, so the title is intended primarily for ardent fans of retro and the genre.
