Anno 1800: The Seat of Power
Anno 1800 Expansion Pack
Release Date: March 24, 2020
Strategy, economic, Colonization, city builder, 19th century, multiplayer, singleplayer, internet
The Seat of Power introduces a palace, which is a kind of command centre. It allows for a variety of regulations affecting nearby buildings and strengthens the influence or economy of our empire.
The Seat of Power is the fourth major add-on to Anno 1800, a popular economic strategy published in April 2019. Add-on was developed by the authors of the original, i.e. Blue Byte studio, and begins the second season of this game development.
Mechanics
The main novelty introduced in Anno 1800: The Seat of Power is a giant palace. The building is not only a visual attraction of our industrial metropolis, but also a kind of command centre, where (depending on the degree of its expansion) the offices of various ministries are located. This allows us to make various adjustments affecting the functioning of nearby structures, strengthening the influence generated by our empire or its economy.
It is worth mentioning that the DLC made its debut with a free update, which introduces the possibility of choosing the difficulty level for the impact system. It can be used not only in a new game, but in an already started one.
Technical aspects
The Seat of Power is not a stand-alone add-on, so it requires the basic version of the game Anno 1800 to work.
