Annihilate the Spance

Annihilate the Spance is a space-based real-time strategy set in space with limited micromanagement. Inspired by the Obliterate Everything series, the independent title is the debut of three-person studio Skyglow Softworks.

Storyline

Annihilate the Spance is set in a future gripped by conflict following the discovery of a mysterious, ultra-dense nebulous anomaly known as "Spance." This storm of matter and energy, traversing the galaxy for eons, has drawn hundreds of solar systems into its depths. Inexplicable phenomena make navigating "Spance" not easy, but the riches hidden in it attract daredevils.

Gameplay

The gameplay consists of managing the base construction, economy and armadas of spaceships, each of which is controlled by an artificial intelligence. This means that units target and attack on their own initiative, while it is up to the player to make higher-level strategic decisions. Thus, you plan the composition of your fleet, calculate construction cycles and develop tactics regarding positioning, creating chains of navigation points to which shipyards send created troops.

The composed mix of ships includes machines of varying scales, ranging from small drones to huge craft capable of rivalling entire bases. They are capable of moving in, out and around enemies.

Annihilate the Spance offers four story campaigns and three playable factions: the militarily powerful Kontaalen Armada, the united fleets of the merchant guilds of the Vaalkorei Coalition and the Tychon Emara Division, which uses experimental technologies.

Game modes and level editor

In addition to the story missions, Annihilate the Spance allows you to fight single skirmishes on custom maps, and with the included level editor you can create and share your own scenarios with other players.
