Anatomy is a horror adventure game developed by independent author Kitty Horrorshow. Try to control your fear as you explore the desolate recesses of a darkened apartment. Only the voice from the cassettes will keep you company.
Anatomy is an experimental adventure game, kept in the atmosphere of psychological horror, which takes less than an hour to complete. It was developed and published by Kitty Horrorshow, an independent author. The game can be downloaded for a small fee on itch.io for Windows, Linux and Mac devices.
Plot
Events in the story take place in a mysterious house, which seems to be completely abandoned. All the rooms are spacious and hidden in darkness. We don't know who the character we control is, and the only information we have about the apartment comes from voice recordings. For some reason, however, we realize where to look for more tapes...
Mechanics
Anatomy is played from a first person perspective (FPP) and its main goal is to explore a spacious apartment and listen to mysterious recordings. Tapes are scattered throughout the building, but we don't have to wander blindly through all the dark rooms to miraculously find another one. As a rule, just after listening to one recording we are informed in which room we should look for the next one.
The game has several different endings, but there are no specific tips on how to get each of them.
Technical aspects
The game has simple, 3D graphics, developed on the Unity engine, bringing to mind the style of games from the 90s. The game is full of disturbing sounds and distorted, flashing images that give it a spooky character.
