Among Us 2 is a sequel to the humorous game from 2018, in which we try to prepare the spaceship for departure, while dealing with the saboteurs hidden in the team. The game was developed by Innersloth studio.

Among Us 2 is a humorous game, prepared for multiplayer mode, which is difficult to define in terms of genre (closest to the strategy). This is a sequel to the successful Among Us - as in that game, our goal is to prepare the spaceship for departure and outsmart the players who want to interrupt us. The game was developed and released by the independent Innersloth studio.

Mechanics

In Among Us 2, we look at the game world from above (from a top-down perspective). Players are divided into two groups. The goal of the first one is to prepare the spaceship for departure - together with other participants we perform various tasks for this purpose (each character has a specific role). The second team are saboteurs hidden among the crew members who try to make life difficult for the other players.

In Among Us 2 you can't trust anyone too much. Players should observe the map and images from cameras and pay attention to the actions of other participants in the game. If they arouse our suspicion and convince the other crew members of their reasons, the enemies will be thrown off the ship. One way to end the game is to find and throw all saboteurs off the ship. However, the enemies are not defenseless either - they can sneak in the ventilation shafts, spoil various elements of the ship and even kill crew members.

's worth noting that the game allows you to change the appearance of our character (talking about color and cap). We also have influence on elements of mechanics (e.g. we can change the number of saboteurs in a team or modify tasks). Compared to the previous part, the creators have increased the number of available roles and refined the network code to allow for easier development of the game and to make the fight against swindlers easier.

Game modes

In Among Us 2 we can only play with others. The main game mode is the multiplayer, where we can play both over the Internet and over the LAN. More players can participate in the game than in the first part.
