Amelia and Terror of the Night

Amelia and Fear of the Night is a beautifully animated, interactive story for young and old players, dealing with universal values such as friendship, acceptance, cooperation and courage. The game was developed by a native studio OhNoo from Tricity and it is his debut on mobile devices with iOS system.

The main characters of the game are the girl Amelia and her three unusual friends: a large furry bowl called Teddy Bear, a small shy turtle named Pencil and a blue Teddy - a disabled cat on two wheels. Together they have to face the evil and frightening creature Skowyt, who steals the souls of the creatures they meet. Unfortunately, another victim of Skowyt became one of the main heroes of the game, and the task of the remaining friends will join forces and defeat the executioner once and for all.

During the game you will have to wade through 42 fully interactive boards, full of hidden objects, puzzles to solve or simple mini-games (e.g. a circle and a cross). Each of them contains a huge amount of possibilities to push and move objects, find hiding places and treasures, and look into interiors and hollows. Almost every element of the board allows for interaction, and the characters you meet speak, move and make sounds. In each location we can collect a certain amount of points, but it is not a condition for discovering new boards, so you can not get stuck in the game, and the whole adventure can be experienced regardless of our ability to deduce and perceptiveness.

Amelia and Fear of the Night brings iOS players into their extraordinary, magical world, not only by having fun - but also by teaching about friendship, acceptance, courage and perseverance in pursuit of the goal. The strongest point of the game is undoubtedly the graphic design, maintained in a slightly ghostly style, characteristic of Tim Burton's cinematography. Thanks to the use of moving plans, the authors also managed to achieve an unusual effect of 3D depth. The professional, orchestral soundtrack is equally high, and our struggles are accompanied by the voice of a speaker, in which Andrzej Ferenc, known from TV, played.
