Almighty: Kill Your Gods is a cooperative action RPG in the TPP shooter convention from RUNWILD Entertaiment studio. This is the first original brand of the British team that previously developed games for publishers. The project was published by Versus Evil.

Plot

The main hero of the game is Alpha, a magical warrior endowed with ancestral powers. Alpha's ambition is to rebuild the home of his people on an island ruined by the false gods. But it won't be an easy task. The only way to get the necessary materials is to hunt for powerful demons, beasts and deities, but this will not escape the attention of Alpha's divine adversaries.

Mechanics

Almighty: Kill Your Gods can be described as a mix of action RPG and third-person Antehem style shooter. The game begins with the selection of one of several available classes, but there is no rigid division into character classes. The initial choice is only a starting point, and our specialization is determined by the equipment used and our abilities.The gameplay comes down to fighting monsters - including powerful bosses - mainly through distance attacks, including powerful ultimate abilities. The gameplay is all about mobility: our character is able to glide in the air, charge through groups of serial enemies, etc.

Defeated enemies leave a variety of drops that we can pick up and move to a designated point. We use the loot collected in this way to improve our island: repair and construct new buildings and modify the existing ones. This is all the more important because the state of the headquarters influences the hero's strength, increasing his health and mana, as well as ensuring its defense against invasions.

Another unusual solution is a dynamic environment. As more enemies are defeated, our actions will become increasingly annoying to the gods. As a result, the island may start to change, and greater challenges will begin to emerge in the area.

Game modes

Almighty: Kill Your Gods allows you to play alone, but the heart of the game is the cooperation mode. We can play in a group of four people, whether friends or random players. This is not an exaggerated facilitation of the game, as the game scales the difficulty level to team size. In addition, with the expansion of the island we get the opportunity to visit the headquarters of other players and take part in events like raids.

Technical aspects

Almighty: Kill Your Gods uses a three-dimensional graphics design, although not at the AAA level. Nevertheless, the graphics remain clear, with interesting designs of enemies and spectacular special effects.
