Hardcore Gamer: 4.5 / 5 by Cory Wells
Games from the Alien movie series tend to be hit and miss, but when they hit, they really hit. Alien: Rogue Incursion improves on the experience from the legendary Alien: Isolation. Rogue Incursion offers more of a traditional survival horror design thanks to its pacing, ammo conservation, puzzle solving and atmosphere. The pacing is what dictates this game, and while there may not be a ton of enemies on screen at once, it's about being enthralled in the position of a facility overtaken by Xenomorphs. Rogue Incursion isn't about mowing down enemies, it's about the unknown and the fact that the controls work flawlessly and minimal damage can be taken on Zula, Alien: Rogue Incursion is the first true survival horror game designed specifically for virtual reality. More importantly, for those Alien fans that have access to VR, this is the game to experience.
NoobFeed: 81 / 100 by Wasbir Sadat
Alien: Rogue Incursion is able to capture the visual identity and the scary atmosphere of classic movies and survival horror games in a manner that is brought to life in virtual reality in a much more significant way. It is very stunning to look at, and the controls are even more impressive.
GameSpace: 9 / 10 by Ed Orr
A genuinely enjoyable Alien title. Mix dread with delight and a mouth full of razor sharp fangs, and you're most of the way there. A solid entry in a franchise that fails as often as it succeeds. This mix retro future industrial design and Giger's monster don't reach the heights of Amanda Ripley's adventure, but Rogue Incursion still feels like a must buy for fans of the Xenomorph.
Alien: Rogue Incursion Description
Alien: Rogue Incursion is a survival horror game based on the license of the cult film series, initiated in 1979 by the movie Alien, directed by Ridley Scott. The game was developed with virtual reality sets in mind, and was created by the Survios studio, whose portfolio includes such projects as Creed: Rise to Glory and The Walking Dead Onslaught.
Plot
The action of Alien: Rogue Incursion is set between the films Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986). During the game we take on the role of a hero who ends up on the inhospitable planet Purdan, specifically - in a gloomy facility located on its surface. Given that this place is overrun by creatures called xenomorphs, his stay on this globe quickly becomes a real struggle for survival.
Gameplay
In Alien: Rogue Incursion we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). During the game we explore a research center bathed in darkness and carry out the missions set before us, thereby pushing the story forward.
We are constantly hunted by aliens and we must be vigilant at every step. The behavior of xenomorphs is supervised by artificial intelligence, which ensures that they move and attack in a natural, yet unpredictable way.
Useful information about the location of adversaries is provided to us by a special motion sensor. The game provides us with a pulse rifle, shotgun, and other murder tools, but engaging in open combat is not always the ideal solution here. Often a better tactic is to act quietly (noise attracts the attention of enemies) and creatively use the environment.
Engine
Alien: Rogue Incursion runs on Unreal Engine 5.

Alien: Isolation Fans, Pay Attention - Alien is Getting a New Horror Game
The video game Aliens has been announced, which appears to be an item aimed - at least in part - at fans of Alien: Isolation. Unfortunately, for now we do not know much about it, and the release seems very far away.
