Alcatraz is the spiritual heir to Hostages, whose main characters - well-trained commandos - had to avoid lights looking for their headlights. This time our wards are on a full offensive and their aim will be to get the title island out of the hands of the drug baron.

Located near San Francisco, the island of Alcatraz, which for nearly thirty years imprisoned the most dangerous criminals in the U.S., was captured by a drug baron, Miguel Tardiez, and his henchmen. With the mission of capturing the ruthless criminal, a special unit of commandos was delegated. Previously, however, the soldiers of the elite unit have to perform several other tasks. It's about finding hard evidence against the bandit, blowing up a storehouse full of drugs and money, and finding a way to get to the prison block. There is not much time for the operation, only two hours.

The Alcatraz competition is divided into two stages. In the first of them we observe the action as in a typical two-dimensional platformer, i.e. from the side. The commando moves to the right, eliminating enemies with several types of means of extermination, including knives, machine guns and flame throwers. The 221B Software product allows you to pick up the weapons of fallen enemies, as well as perform spectacular overturns over the mines set up here and there. As befits a spiritual heir to Hostages, our charges are also able to hide in the shadows and avoid the eyes of their opponents.
