Airborne Hero D–Day Frontline 1944 Description
Airborne Hero D-Day Frontline 1944 is an action game that takes us into the realities of World War II. It gives a chance to take part in one of the most important and bloody battles of this conflict. The game starts on June 6, 1944, the day that went down in history as D-Day. It was then that Operation Overlord began, and its first point was to drop thousands of paratroopers on the beaches of Normandy.
In this title we play the role of one of the members of the Allied airborne landing forces, lieutenant Peter Smith. Our hero rubs against death before he meets the first German soldier. The aeroplane which flies, together with its companions, is hit by a bullet from an anti-aircraft cannon. Life owes only to the fact that the force of the explosion throws it outside. Peter manages to land, but it turns out that he is the only person who succeeded in this art. From now on, he is only dependent on himself. Lieutenant Smith, led to rage, promises revenge and, like a one-man army, sets off to fight the Nazis.
The authors of the game, creating each of the ten stages waiting for us, took into account the actual events that took place during the operation Overlord. In general, references to the events of that time can be seen at every step (in such elements as the soundtrack, intro and outro, among others). It is no different with the available combat tools. The arsenal is not too wide, with only six weapons, but it is an authentic Airborne Rangers equipment from those years.
