Air Bucks is another economic product of Impressions, in which programmers tried to faithfully recreate the reality of one of the branches of business. This time the choice fell on air transport.

One hundred thousand dollars, the position of president of a transport services company and one aeroplane - that's all you get at the start of the race for the title of the best carrier. The programme always begins in October 1946 and lasts forty years. In order not to be boring, other transport companies are also competing with each other. By default, they are controlled by the computer, but you can entrust the care of them to other players. In Air Bucks up to four people can compete at the same time.

The game is very complex. In order to start the adventure with air transport at all, you must first purchase the right to use the airports we are interested in. At the start, the only airstrip available to all carriers is in Miami. From now on, it will be up to us whether our finances will allow us to use ports on the other side of the globe. Also when it comes to aircraft maintenance, Impressions programmers served users with truly intellectual challenges. At Air Bucks we not only decide where and at what price our planes will fly, but we also have an influence on such important things as the arrangement of seats in two tourist classes (business and economy) and the size of space available for luggage. As if that wasn't enough, the player can equip each aircraft individually with elements ensuring proper travel comfort. This includes aspects such as meals, space for hand luggage, the presence of qualified staff, in-flight film projections and much more. In order to attract the right number of passengers, the player can also use an advertising campaign, including inventing their own slogans and catchy slogans. There is also a staff of scientists who, depending on the funds allocated, will allow us to invent new planes. Impressions' product couldn't do without rich statistics and charts to evaluate our progress and compare it with the results of other carriers. Also noteworthy are a lot of random factors (e.g. a strike of airport staff, terrible weather conditions), which require quick reactions from the player.
