Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms Description
Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms for PC is the second official expansion for the remastered version of the 1999 hit, Age of Empires II, a cult-classic real time strategy game. The game follows the classical RTS scheme, consisting of town building, military growth, and battles between armies.

Similarly to the core game, The African Kingdoms takes place during the middle ages. However, the new add-on takes us to Africa, giving us control over local tribes, including Berbers and Malians. New factions mean unique units (e.g. camel archers), buildings, and technologies. The add-on increases the significance of encountered surfaces – the buildings can be built on sand or stone, resulting in different durability.
