A strategy game focusing on the social aspects and created by Fuero Games - an independent Polish developer. The player is required to expand their settlement, provide proper technological foundation, as well as to train a powerful army. Since the game is set in an alternative, fantastic version of prehistoric times, the player encounters such creatures as, i.e. trained dinosaurs, apart from regular units.

Age of Cavemen is a multiplayerstrategy game available on the AND, Windows Phone and iOS platforms. The game is set in prehistoric times. Age of Cavemen was developed by Fuero Games studio, which has worked with CD Projekt RED on The Witcher Battle Arena. The game is distributed in a free-to-play model and enables cross-platform gameplay between the version available on mobile devices with the one for the browser, available both on the game's website and on Facebook.

Plot

In Age of Cavemen, set in prehistoric times, we can face the everyday reality of cavemen, which was a constant struggle for survival and against various threats - hostile tribes and prehistoric beasts.

Mechanics

The mechanics of the game does not differ significantly from the majority of popular games from this genre, e.g. Clash of Clans. The player's tasks include the continuous expansion of their settlement, building and developing new buildings, as well as training their army. A clear and understandable tutorial introduces us to the rules of the game. The main core of the game is completing various missions. We can choose from various buildings and their upgrades, as well as several different types of units. There is also a possibility of taming and using powerful dinosaurs in battle. As in most of these types of games, levveling up unlocks access to new buildings and opportunities. All activities are limited by the free-to-play model typical of the genre, which requires waiting for a certain amount of time to complete an action. We can speed up this process by purchasing microtransactions.

Game modes

In Age of Cavemen, we can play in two different ways. Single player enthusiasts can play a traditional campaign in which they explore the prehistoric world and complete various missions. However, the game takes on a new dimension in the PvP mode, in which we can form alliances with other players, and then plunder others' villages or support each other.

Technical aspects

Age of Cavemen, available on the AND, Windows Phone and iOS, uses graphics typical for this genere, similar to, e.g. Clash of Clans. Besides the colourful, drawn graphics, the game also features many funny animations.
