Actua Soccer 3 is the third installment of a series of football simulations created by the British developer studio Gremlin Interactive. Players have the opportunity to steer the actions of 10,000 players from 450 football clubs playing in 25 national leagues. Creators of the game took care of even greater realism by introducing, among other things, variable weather conditions and the ability to manually correct tactics on virtual pitches.

Actua Soccer 3 on PC and PS1 is the third and last installment of the Gremlin Interactive football simulation series. The creators have made it a priority to improve the solutions from the previous parts of the series and supplement them with new elements.

Players again have the opportunity to direct the players of their favourite teams. This time the database contains information about four hundred and fifty teams from twenty-five national leagues, in which ten thousand players play in total. Official licenses of football federations allowed the creators to use authentic club names and athletes' names.

The creators remained faithful to the tried and tested gameplay mechanisms of the two previous editions of the cycle, but enriched them with new elements, such as the possibility of correcting the tactics used by the team formations during the game. The quality of weather effects, which affect not only the visual layer of virtual matches, but also the behaviour of the ball and players, has also been improved.
