Two-dimensional platformer combining elements of Limbo and VVVVVVV games. The production was created by an independent studio Flying Turtle Software, for which this is the first such a serious project.

A Walk in the Dark is a 2D platformer in which we play the role of a cat looking for its owner - the girl Arielle. It is the work of an independent studio Flying Turtle Software from Portugal, which consists of two people. Bruno Vidal, a software engineer, is accompanied by Paulo Silva, two years older, responsible for the artistic layer of production. Both have previously created two games dedicated to the Windows Phone 7 platform, and this is their third, but so far the largest project.

The girl Arielle went for a walk with her cat Bast, of which the comforting pet is particularly pleased. Finally, she may taste a little bit of freedom, so she decides to set off on a tour of the area and, regardless of her owner's cries, leaves her behind. After a short hike, Bast starts chasing small creatures and tries to catch one of them. However, the test fails and the cat lands on a pile of stones. Momentarily everything is wrapped in smoke, which after a while takes on a concrete shape - a creature known as the Soul (Spirit). She kidnaps a girl, Arielle, who has barely found her charges. Tormented with remorse, Bast wants to find his lady - he knows that an unexpected kidnapping is his fault.
