So Many Me Description
So Many Me is a colorful logic and arcade game, combining the mechanics of typical platformers with solutions reminiscent of classic Lemmings. Extend Interactive, an independent studio from Thailand, is responsible for the creation of the game.
Plot
In So Many Me, we play the role of a green creature named Filo, who has the extraordinary power to control countless numbers of his clones. When his world is in danger caused by the appearance of a mysterious and ancient evil, our protagonist and his brethren set out on a dangerous mission to save it. The hero's biggest problem, however, turns out to be the necessity to control a bunch of not very intelligent beings and to guide them safely through a world full of dangers.
Mechanics
The gameplay boils down to exploring successive semi-open locations, set in different sceneries, such as dense tropical forest or a brown-red desert. However, the seemingly simple task of getting from point A to point B is disturbed by numerous opponents and various puzzles that require logical thinking. However, we can deal with them using our clones who have several useful skills. Thanks to special collectibles and power-ups, these skills can be developed and modified. Thanks to them we can, for example, transform one of the clones into a living trampoline or a footbridge, which will help the rest of the team get to the other side of the chasm.
Technical aspects
So Many Me is characterized by a slightly old-school, but very impressive graphic design, full of intense colors and contrasts. The gameplay is enhanced by a cheerful soundtrack.
