The next installment of an interesting and complex strategy, in which we can build our own city and lead the railway company. The title offers a very reliable approach to the subject of creating public transport infrastructure.

A-Train 8 is another part of a great series of economic strategies focusing on the development of public transport infrastructure. The creators of this work are employees of Interactive Entertainment company, known for example from Castrol Honda Superbike 2000 game. The product was released by the British company Bluestone Interactive Ltd.

In the game we play the role of the head of a railway company, who was additionally elected the mayor of a town. Of course, the city lacks a functioning railway. Our task is therefore to build an efficient infrastructure and introduce new connections, making life easier for residents and improving the functioning of local industry. Creating the best public transport system is not an easy task, and the need to develop the whole city also rests on our heads.

The game offers a lot of freedom in our actions. We start playing with the construction by building the main railway station and planning the initial streets. Every activity requires taking into account many factors - even the terrain counts. Apart from railway centres, we can also create housing estates, office buildings or, for example, factories. We also have at our disposal many characteristic world buildings, such as the Eiffel Tower or even the Empire State Building itself. Thanks to the great visual setting, the city created by us will come to life before our eyes.

The game is influenced by many different economic and natural factors, such as changing seasons and weather conditions. Once we have built our empire, we can also double our profits by manipulating the company's shares on the stock market and investing in one of the 50 other companies. Of course, misguided handling of own resources may result in bankruptcy.

The authors of the product reproduced a number of different real machines and wagons. Interestingly, we can also look inside all available locomotives. We have at our disposal 30 prepared terrain maps and the option of creating your own ones. In addition, the title contains an extensive editor of the city, offering, among other things, 120 different buildings and 53 trains. It is worth mentioning the option of listening to your own music while having fun and quite an interesting graphic design.
