A Tale in the Desert Description
A Tale in the Desert is a cRPG game designed for massive multiplayer online gameplay. The action takes players to ancient Egypt, where by becoming its inhabitants they create a great ancient civilization. Every player can actively participate in the life of the virtual world, practically all the ways of promotion at that time are open to us - we can erect buildings or deepen our knowledge in a specific field of science. It is worth noting that the game is completely devoid of brutal elements - there is no fight here. The whole game focuses only on developing craftsmanship skills (you can become a merchant, builder, artist, cook, etc.) and broadly understood contacts with other people (group undertakings, guilds, whole countries, pyramid building, etc.). A Tale in the Desert strives to accurately reflect the realities of ancient Egyptian culture, including all political, economic and social aspects. Everything is represented by a three-dimensional graphical engine.
Note: On October 15, 2004, the game changed its name to A Tale in the Desert II. This was a consequence of major changes and modernizations introduced by its authors, among others: graphics and mechanics of the programme were improved, social aspects were expanded and craftsmanship skills possible to master.
