The game takes place in a future where we play as highly-trained soldiers who have to fend off an enemy invasion. Gameplay in IronFall: Invasion is really fast-paced and, when it comes to the game's cover system, visibly inspired by Gears of War. We will use many types of weapons in combat, including pistols, rifles, and sniper rifles.

You play as a Special Tactical Fighter Squadron Scarface pilot and participate in Operation Fighter's Honor, during which you have to stop the countries of the southern Usea from joining the Osean Federation.

The player is taken to a fantasy world where the two main protagonists (Gunstar Red and Gunstar Blue) fought Golden Silver, a sinister robot. Neutralization of the antagonist was possible thanks to the heroes hiding away the four diamonds that gave him power.
