3 Minutes to Midnight is an adventure game in which we play as two characters: Betty - a young girl who tries to solve a conspiracy plot and the mayor, Eliza Barret. The title refers to classic adventure games by LucasArts, such as The Secret of Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle or Sam & Max Hit the Road. Developers from Scarecrow Studio are responsible for its development.

Story

Somewhere in New Mexico a mysterious explosion takes place. Betty Anderson, a teenager, wakes up suddenly and realizes that she has no idea where and who she is - whatever exploded in the desert has cleared her memory in a strange way. It soon turns out, however, that Betty has many more causes for concern than just amnesia. One of them is a conspiracy, which may result in... the extinction of the human race.

Mechanics

3 Minutes to Midnight is a classic point & click adventure game. The player's task is to explore subsequent locations, talk to encountered NPCs (in the game world we will find dozens of different characters), collect items and solve logic puzzles. In the production of Scarecrow Studio, we control two heroines, switching between them at predetermined moments.

3 Minutes to Midnight features single player mode only.

Technical aspects

3 Minutes to Midnight features eye-catching two-dimensional visuals, consisting mainly of drawn backgrounds and character models. The artistic style refers to classic 2D adventure games as well as animated films.
