Cyberpunk shooter from Polish Feardemic Games team. In 2084 players try to get out of the postapocalyptic labyrinth and deal with enemies with futuristic weapons and hacker skills.
2084 is a cyberpunk first person shooter (FPS). The game was created by Feardemic Games studio, which is a part of the Bloober Team.
Plot
As the title suggests, the action of the game takes place in the year 2084 in the dystopian world of the future. The main protagonist is imprisoned in a mysterious, dangerous labyrinth. Players are tasked with helpimg him escape.
Mechanics
The creators of 2084 focused on dynamic gameplay in the style of classic FPS. During the game players fight hordes of various opponents with futuristic weapons, and occasionally face large bosses. A certain variety is the hacking option, which allows players to get into the minds of their opponents to tip the scales of victory to their side. This also gives them access to additional resources, including ammunition and health upgrades.
Game modes
2084 offers two gameplay modes. The first of them is a fictional campaign - players break through consecutive segments of the labyrinth to finally face the greatest challenge. The second is a classic mode with endless waves of enemies, in which players try to survive as long as possible and get the best score on the ranking board.
Technical aspects
2084 features decent-quality visuals. The style of the game reminds the aesthetics of cyberpunk, with gloomy, futuristic locations and enemies.
