Inspired by the 1993 cult tactical game Syndicate, a first-person shooter set in cyberpunk reality. Starbreeze studio, known from such games as The Darkness or The Chronicles of Riddick, is responsible for its creation. The action of the title takes us to the year 2069, where three megacorporations are constantly competing with each other.

Syndicate is a return to the world of the cult production of the same name which was released in 1993. The title takes us into the cyberpunk reality familiar from the original, but this time however, we do not deal with a tactical game, but with a dynamic first-person shooter.

Syndicate shows the grim reality of the future in 2069 divided between three mega-corporations: Cayman Global, Aspari, and Eurocorp. They govern every part of the American economy and wage a bloody war. The players assume the role of a member of the last one, Miles Kilo, and is thrown into the vortex of an intricate plot. During the game, the fans of the series have the opportunity to come across the locations already known from the original and spot many references to it.

As befits a modern shooter, in Syndicate we get a whole arsenal of futuristic weapons and kilograms of useful gadgets and nano-enhancements that allow us, among others, to temporarily enhance our skills, see through walls, and even slow time down.
