It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Taking the matter into our own hands we go through various dynamic levels and diverse environments to fight for our survival. The game has a nice audiovisual setting.

I Am Alive

Third-person action game with survival elements, developed by Ubisoft. I Am Alive was set in the modern city after huge earthquake. We play as a man who among the ruins of the house is trying to find his missing wife and daughter. In the face of tragedy, the city is ruled by the law of the stronger. The hero, armed only with a bow and a gun with limited ammunition, tries to survive among the ruthless hoodlums. Due to the modest weaponry, the key to survival is cunning and perceptiveness.

Transformers: The Game

Dynamic action game developed by Activision, an adaptation of the 2007 American superproduction. The PC version was created by Traveller's Tales, while the console and handheld editions were made by Vicarious Visions. The plot of Transformers: The Game is loosely based on the story told in the film. In the game we can control both Autobots (Optimus Prime, Ironhide and Bumblebee are at our disposal) and Decepticons (in this case we play as Megatron, Barricade or even Starscream).

The add-on created by City Interactive developers offers, among others, a new single-player campaign consisting of 10 missions, an even bigger arsenal of available weapons and the possibility of driving new types of vehicles in the game (e.g. AH 64-Apache helicopter).
