BeamNG.drive Description
BeamNG.drive for PC is the debut production of the small BeamNG studio. Since its inception, it worked on an advanced physics engine, and after completion of the work on it, it was decided that a game that will be utilizing it will be developed.
Therefore BeamNG.drive offers sandboksowy game model in which we freely wander the diverse locations of open structure, indulging in the pleasures of traveling and exploration. We do it behind the wheel of one of a relatively substantial pool of vehicles, fully susceptible to damage, and a wide range of modifications.
To a large extent, the players themselves are responsible for ensuring that the game does not become boring. The developers provide a powerful editor that allows you to create your own maps and vehicles. There is also the option of creating missions and challenges, allowing you to enrich the production with a sort of campaign feature. Moreover, the creators themselves continually develop their work, adding new areas, vehicles, or modes such as rallies, street racing, courier jobs, stunt shows and police chases.
The most important part of this game, however, is its physics engine. BeamNG created an advanced technology that, in addition to a very realistic model of the behavior of the car on the road, offers a system of destruction on an unprecedented level. Plate bending and parts dropping off are generated real time, and the effects of collisions just slightly deviate from what we can see in aactual crash tests. With this sort of advancement of physics in the game, the visuals generated by the Torque3D engine, despite the relative poverty of detail and effects, may go by the wayside.
