LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 Description
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is a sequel to released for PC, PS3 and etc. in 2010 LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. The game world is built out of LEGO blocks. The game presents the events from the last three books of the famous series by J.K. Rowling from Great Britain.
Gameplay
As usual, Traveller’s Tales studio has developed the game. The players can control Harry Potter (obviously enough), but also Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, or Hagrid. Many well-known locations can be visited, although they are quite original because they’re made of LEGO blocks. Players can visit Diagon Alley, Privet Drive in Little Whinging, or Godrick’s Hollow, as well as Hogwarts, The Ministry of Magic, Hogsmade, and Grimmauld Place. All these places are visually very charming.
Compared to the previous parts, this one is more gloomy – much like the corresponding books and movies. The story is focused on the struggle of Harry against Lord Voldemort, who becomes a growing thread to the world of magic, and gathers more followers. The game is full of arcade elements, but there also are some pretty simple riddles, which can be solved by some of the characters.
The virtual world was created in such a way as to look identically on all platforms, so there’s no need to strip down any of the game’s versions.
As usual, a great advantage of the game is the cooperation mode, in which the whole story can be finished with a friend. The key in this mode is appropriate cooperation – the game is very approachable so even the most beginning players can join the fun.
