Car Mastery and perks
Car mastery is acquired through perks that you obtain in various ways. Perks include active or passive effects that, when unlocked, give you a specific bonus. Some of them can give you XP, credits (CR), or wheelspins, while others increase modifiers like those for driving without hitting anything, increase the amount of experience gained for a specific number of rides, etc. The initial perks displayed at the bottom cost one point, while the ones above can cost 3 points or more.
How to earn skill points?
When it comes to earning skill points needed to unlock new perks, you get them mainly for doing long and profitable combos, such as drifting, driving without crashes, jumping, destroying a smaller tree, etc. To increase the multiplier, you have to do something else as well. For example, the multiplier will increase when you jump into the air after drifting. It is important to remember that you cannot collide with something that will stop you or knock you down - you will lose the current pool of points collected from combos.
