Josh Holloway – Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. Not only Keanu Reeves – movie stars in games

Table of Contents

Genre: RTS

Developer: Electronic Arts Inc

Platforms: PC, X360

I needed to dig a bit to remember who Josh Holloway was. Currently, he has some episodes with TV series, and he appeared in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, but this isn't an obvious name. Thirteen or fourteen years ago, things were quite different. Those were the days, when the cult series Lost reigned the pre-Netflix TV series business around the world.

On the wave of this popularity, Holloway got some interesting gigs, among others as Ajay in Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. The RTS was making a return to the roots of the series, and that guy seized the perfect moment. And received, in general, quite an interesting role. Ajay was a tragic figure, a field intelligence officer.

He's the type of a good soldier fighting on the wrong side. Brave, loyal, caring for his men -- but in the service of the terrorist NOD. As much as Command & Conquer's insipid history allowed it, Holloway adeptly played the character's growing internal conflict, the rapture between loyalty to the cause, and the growing disillusionment.

Phil Collins – GTA: Vice City Stories

Phil Collins has never been so square! - The Godlike Keanu Reeves and Company – Movie Stars in the Games - dokument - 2019-11-04
Phil Collins has never been so square!

Genre: Action

Developer: Rockstar

Platforms: PSP, PS2

When I hear "Phil Collins, I think "Genesis." Or more precisely: Jesus He Knows Me or Land of Confusion (and a few less-brilliant, but still pretty mawkish songs from their later period). And well, Phil Collins will remain Phil Collins even if hell freezes over. You just can't deny his charm and charisma. And with this entourage, he appeared in Vice City Stories, the prequel to GTA: Vice City, originally designed for the PSP.

You guessed it, Collins appears as himself there. And when he arrives in Vice City, he brings typical gangster problems. His manager owes the mafia money and the gangsters are onto him. We start as Phil's bodyguard, to then protect him from all sorts of trouble, and the whole set of tasks will be rewarded with a performance of In The Air Tonight. You've just got to see this.
