December is a time when we look back at the ending year and the winter holiday season often brings many interesting games. This December, there will be plenty to choose from, too, and if none of the new games appeals to you, maybe you'll be interested in the next-gen edition of The Witcher 3? Apart from that, there will be a few other games worthy of attention, although if someone's firmly convinced there are interesting releases coming, changing their mind won't be all that easy...

Need for Speed, but sort of anime?

Need for Speed is back, and we're really excited for this new direction for the venerable series. Not everyone seems to like the aesthetics offered by Need for Speed Unbound, but the return to real street tuner culture is fantastic news. The game will use cell-shaded graphics style combined with a realistic environment. This unusual mix will be a setting for the story of two buddies, theft of a valuable car, and street racing.

Experiments on the road

The basic premise of the game hasn't changed, so we will again take part in illegal street races and intense police chases. Of course, cars can be extensively tuned, there will be a slew of cosmetic elements, and there are some fresh tweaks coming to the driving model. The game is supposed to be lighter on its typical, purely arcade character and bring some more realism.
