Spiritfarer – Guide your friends to the afterlife. Indie World Showcase games you can already play

Table of Contents

Build your vessel, explore the world, manage resources, and ultimately guide the spirit friends you make along the way to a peaceful afterlife. Spiritfarer is out now for the Switch.

In Spiritfarer, a new game by developer and publisher Thunder Lotus Games, you are Stella. You are a spiritfarer, someone who helps guide spirits to the afterlife.

You are not just a chauffeur for the deceased, you are a caretaker, a chef, a farmer, and most importantly, a friend. You’ll need to build the best boat on the mystical seas to explore the world and ferry your spirit friends along their journey.

This game combines a heartwarming story of life and death, with cozy game elements that make you a much friendlier version of Davy Jones, minus the tentacle beard and crab claw. You are responsible for the spirits, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have some fun along the way.

What kind of adventures and experiences will you have with the spirits?

Create lasting memories and experience emotional stories with Spiritfarer, available now on the Nintendo eShop..
