What will S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl be about?

The first part of STALKER and its two story expansions were great hits. It turned out that the atmosphere of the Chernobyl Zone, the movie Stalker and the books Picnic at the Edge of the Road are great for a computer game and it is a pity that we had to wait so many years for the next installment of the series. The plot of the sequel will not be related to the story of the previous games. We will play as Skif – a lonely stalker trying to unravel the mystery of a certain source of energy that appeared in the Zone after the second explosion in the reactor. For this purpose, we will visit one of the largest maps in the history of the industry – with iconic locations such as the cities of Pripyat and Chernobyl, and the site of the power plant itself. The plot is to be non-linear, with numerous side quests. Unraveling the puzzle will be hampered by all kinds of mutants inhabiting the Zone and not very friendly environmental conditions.

Why are we waiting?

Come on – it's S.T.A.L.K.E.R. ! And we have a special weakness when it comes to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and everything that has a familiar, Slavic atmosphere. The previous games in this series were also just very good, demanding, allowing you to completely immerse yourself in this hostile but very intriguing world. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl is also to show the power of Unreal Engine 5. Considering how old the graphics of the previous parts have grown old, exploring the well-known Zone in next-gen quality will be another reason to play the game, regardless of our past relationships with this brand. It just promises to be one of the best, most immersive FPP titles of the year.
