In Overlord, we can finally personally swing the sword and cut down the heroic knights. In complete contrast to most fantasy action games, we play a candidate for the title of the Lord of Darkness, with ambitions to become a harbinger of death and doom. We have an army of minions to help, but instead of the funny yellow "tictacs," these are filthy little devils. They look silly and turn out rather dumb, often pushing themselves to certain death and doing other unreasonable things.
Our antihero can also track the level of badness of the character on a special indicator and here it's worth being a bit more careful, because an accidental good deed can bring us fame and gratitude of the local residents. All we have to do is torture them or kidnap women, though, and everything will return to its wicked norm. Fortunately, the atmosphere of the game is not that gloomy, the whole thing is impregnated with the right dose of humor – of course the black one!
