Cyberpunk 2077 – Minimum System Requirements. Cyberpunk 2077 PC - can you afford it?
Table of Contents
Games mentioned in the introduction – The Witcher 3 and GTA V encouraged me to purchase some new hardware components, although my old equipment was sufficient to run these games in low-medium details, while maintaining (almost always) a smooth 30 frames per second. Personally, I think that my current system specification (which you can see below) will allow me to run Cyberpunk 2077 without any problems. Especially as the CD Projekt RED still ensures that the game will be very well optimized (I'll take your word for it!).
Will such PC configuration be enough for Cyberpunk 2077?
- Processor: Intel Core i5-7500 3.4 GHz,
- RAM: 8 GB,
- Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB.
Such configuration (or with an AMD Ryzen 5 processor, e.g. 1500 X) should be enough to enjoy the game in low or probably medium details and 1080p. This set can easily cope with older, demanding games, providing gameplay at smooth 40-50 frames per second at maximum detail and Full HD resolution. Newer productions such as Shadow of Tomb Raider, Devil May Cry 5, and Resident Evil 2 Remake will also run quite well, although the detail level of various graphics options has to be reduced to medium or low.
If you're satisfied with lowest graphics settings, an older processor such as 2nd or 3rd generation Intel i5 and GeForce 1050 Ti video card may be enough. However, 3 GB of video memory and 8 GB of RAM may be either the absolute minimum or even slightly below the minimum requirements. Nowadays, graphics cards with less than 4GB of video memory do not seem to be a reasonable purchase.
