Guest performances. Easter eggs and secrets of Cyberpunk 2077

Hideo Kojima

I didn't lie when I talked about the feeling that connects CD Projekt RED and Kojima Productions. It's so big that even Hideo Kojima himself has appeared in Cyberpunk. You can meet him in Act I during the main job called "The Heist". This is when you and Jackie go to the Kanpeki Plaza hotel. Before you take the elevator to get to your luxury room, try to visit the bar there. Hideo is sitting at one of the tables with a group of people to whom he tells about his visionary development studio and the project he is working on. Of course, I wouldn't get too attached to these words, because they don't hide any secrets or reveal a new game – they are simply a nice treat for fans of this artist's work.

Famous youtubers and streamers

Alanah Pearce

Alanah Pearce is a former IGN service employee and current developer of Santa Monica Studio, working on God of War: Ragnarok. The journalist also achieved considerable success on YouTube, which allowed her to stay in touch with CDPR. The studio even invited her to record a small line for a character named Lana.

You will meet her during a job where you can retrieve your starting car (provided that you have chosen the nomad path), that is Galena-80845. Atsome point you will receive a text message from the vehicle itself with the GPS coordinates, thus getting a new job. During this process, you will go to a landfill and meet Alanah as NPC.

Cohh Carnage

In the game, there is also a streamer and youtuber, Cohh Carnage in a very interesting role. He is the vicious prophet, who regularly gives us idiotic conspiracy theories – V can even undermine them and enter into a discussion with the hero that leads nowhere. You will find this homeless oracle next to Victor's facility in the Watson district. You will recognize him by the constant rubbing of his mouth and eloquent gestures.

Jesse Cox

The funniest cameo of the whole group of Internet influencers is definitely the one by Jesse Cox. The man portrays himself in the game, being the main character of a funny side job called "Burning Desire". The NPC, has installed faulty cyberware in his genitals, which makes him suffer from real tortures. As V, we have to take him to a nearby ripperdoc as soon as possible, and make fun of him a little bit.

Karol Laska

His adventure with journalism began with a personal blog, the name of which is no longer worth quoting. Then he interpreted Iranian dramas and the Joker, writing for cinematography journal, which, sadly, no longer exists. His writing credentials include a degree in film studies, but his thesis was strictly devoted to video games. He has been writing for Gamepressure since March 2020, first writing a lot about movies, then in the newsroom, and eventually, he became a specialist in everything. He currently edits and writes articles and features. A long-time enthusiast of the most bizarre indie games and arthouse cinema. He idolizes surrealism and postmodernism. He appreciates the power of absurdity. Which is probably why he also tried soccer refereeing for 2 years (with so-so results). He tends to over-philosophize, so watch out.
