What is Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun?
This is a new shooter that came out this year, but it looks like it's at least two decades old. Creating old-school style shooters has recently become quite fashionable, and the authors from Auroch Digital studio have also decided to follow this trend. Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun stands out primarily because it is set in a popular universe – the atmosphere is the strong suit of this game. Another of its advantages is the joy of smearing opponents – blood spills here left and right, and the action rarely slows down even for a moment. Add some nice knockers to this, and we get a game that's solid at the least.
Who is Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun for?
This will certainly be a good proposition for fans of the universe who reach for all things Warhammer 40k. The game should also appeal to fans of pixel art shooters evoking nostalgia, as well as to people looking for a fast, bloody, reasonably short and simple gameplay. The only challenge here are the bosses, but even then it's not that big. Finding secrets turns out to be even simpler as they're not really hidden at all.
Minimum Requirements:

Cult of the Lamb
What is Cult of the Lamb?
Do you remember the group of nice forest animals from the animated series South Park? The beloved heroes had their dark and bloody secret. I don't know if the creators from Massive Monster were inspired by this cult series, but there are many similarities to be found. In Cult of the Lamb, at first glance cute creatures contrast with ubiquitous demons, pentagrams, and controversial practices, such as cannibalism and necromancy. The gameplay largely involves managing a settlement and taking care of its inhabitants. Resources needed for upgrades are obtained in dungeons, where the player will face encounters with less and more challenging opponents. One of the more important aspects is faith and its doctrines. There was also no shortage of mechanics invented for converting non-believers to the only correct faith.
Who's Cult of the Lamb for?
Even though it's a roguelike, the challenges that await the player on randomly generated maps should not cause any headaches. Not until you choose the highest difficulty level. There are four of these, and the easiest one is exceptionally low – the fights basically win themselves. So everyone should find something for themselves.
