What are the ways of leveling in Dragon Quest Builders 2? Dragon Quest Builders 2 guide, tips
Last update: 22 August 2019
In the following chapter of our guide to Dragon Quest Builders 2 you will learn how to advance your character's level and whether there is any other way to level up your character.
In Dragon Quest Builders 2 you can level up in several ways. The first one is killing monsters to increase the experience of your main character. The harder the monster to kill, the bigger the XP you will get when you manage to defeat it. The level rises when your experience bar is filled to the very end. Then your character stops for a moment and gains more health points, new possibilities to create items and sometimes new skills. However, the character level is not the only level you can gain in Dragon Quest Builders 2
The second way of leveling is to raise the level of a village. The NPCs in the village sometimes leave the experience points of the village in the form of a heart. You get them for completing quests commissioned by them. In turn, the sole raising of village level looks slightly different than advancement of your character. To advance the village level, approach the main bell in the village and ring it. Benefits for achieving a higher village level include a higher number of NPCs in the village, new recipes for creating items and further area expansion.
