Description (in author’s own words):

Want a different spin on the campaign? Want something else than story-filled mods? You can try out this mod, which replaces the entire story of the original game with 7 different challenges per level!

The Simpsons: Arcade Mode is a unique modification, featuring the entirety of the game's 7 levels changed in a certain way, which removes all this nonsence about aliens, cola and whatever, who needs that, huh? that's me being sarcastic, yes

Anyways, prepare to meet and play through 7 levels of challenging trials and complex gamepaly elements!

Each level features 5 challenges, 1 grand challenge and a trial, acting as the final mission of the level. In total, there are 35 challenges, and a whopping 49 missions, never seen before in a campaign mod!

The cost of these changes is the lack of beta testing and additional content, such as bonus missions and purchasable vehicles, but they were simply a distraction from the main goals of this mod - challenges!

The difficulty scales with each level, so be aware of that!

Additionally, each single level has it's own theme, which will serve as a guide for what types of challenges you shall face:

1. Collectathon - You will be required to collect coins, wrenches, collector cards and destroy wasps
2. Destructathon - You'll face various rivalry(and not so much) vehicles to destroy, with the addition of power couplings and police forces
3. Raceathon - You've guessed it, races!
4. Policeathon - An entire level centered about police. Don't get too cocky, or, the exact opposite - survive max heat Hit & Run for several minutes!
5. Nukeathon - Ever wanted even more Autotopsy missions? There you have it! An entire level filled with nuclear waste delivery sections
6. Combinathon - A level dedicated to more advanced conditions, never used in the original game before, like maintaining high speed or never leaving the roads while in a race
7. Unfairathon - Prepare your last will, since this last level will certainly take the living hell out of you. It's not impossible, but a few missions will certainly seem rather unfair and difficult

That being said, the mod is fully playable from start to finish. Additional content (like more collector cards, and more polish in general) will be available later

Instructions:

Hey there!

To install the mod you need Lucas' Simpsons Hit & Run Mod Launcher.

1. Extract the contents anywhere on the desktop

2. Open the launcher, wait for it to load and then click "Open..." in the left bottom corner of the programm

3. In the dropdown menu click "Launcher settings"

4. Now go to the "Game" tab and click "Browse", after that - locate your Simpsons Hit and Run executable (.exe) file and click "Open"

This will link the launcher to your game copy, now you can forget about launching the game directly since the launcher is better anyway!

To install Any mod just put it’s -.lmlm file (extract it out of the archive first though) into the "Mods" folder that was downloaded alongside the launcher, and that's it! Reload the launcher and the mod will be available. Tick it and enjoy!
