Homer The Detective is a mod for The Simpsons: Hit & Run, crated by Gordon CMB.

Homer Simpson, a local buffoon, joins the ranks of Springfield Police force! His first case to solve isn't going to be simple, as he's been tasked with a series of robberies. Can you help Homer save the day and stop all the criminals?

Ever wanted to solve a mystery in Springfield? Well now you can!

In this one-level mod you will play as a police officer Homer, who's just been assigned to a new case - Solve a strange robbery spree in the city.

The concept of this mod is somewhat unique - you will mostly play as Homer, but when you'll start questioning (or interrogating) suspects and witnesses - in a mission you will play as them from their perspective!

That's right, you'll have the chance to play as multiple characters in just one level!

The modification is available in two languages - Russian and English, the former is a translation and it's supplied within the mod

Instructions:

Hey there!

To install the mod you need Lucas' Simpsons Hit & Run Mod Launcher.

1. Extract the contents anywhere on the desktop

2. Open the launcher, wait for it to load and then click "Open..." in the left bottom corner of the programm

3. In the dropdown menu click "Launcher settings"

4. Now go to the "Game" tab and click "Browse", after that - locate your Simpsons Hit and Run executable (.exe) file and click "Open"

This will link the launcher to your game copy, now you can forget about launching the game directly since the launcher is better anyway!

To install Any mod just put it’s -.lmlm file (extract it out of the archive first though) into the "Mods" folder that was downloaded alongside the launcher, and that's it! Reload the launcher and the mod will be available. Tick it and enjoy!
