The NieR Automata Church is a mod for NieR: Automata, created by SadFutago.
Description:
The mod adds a new location to the game in the form of a mysterious hidden church. It is filled with enemies and story elements.
In the middle of 2022, the project caused quite a sit in the NieR fan community. Initially, videos from it were presented as a new, previously undiscovered secret in the game. Only after some time did the developers admit that it was in fact a modification.
It is worth mentioning that this is the first mod for NieR: Automata, whose authors figured out how to add new locations to the game.
Instructions:
Extract the archive to the "Data" folder in the place where you installed the game.
Alternatively (which we recommend), use Nier Automata Mod Helper (NAMH) to install the project.
If this is your first time playing, people make sure you are at around level 90 and remove chips such as overclock and shock wave. Just so you're not super overpowered
I also recommend not playing the regular story with the normal version of the mod installed (lite version suggested).
