Description:
Re-Encoded movies to reduce stutter during gameplay.
What the mod does:
The original cutscenes in NieR: Automata are in extremely high bitrate (up to 40mbps) and take up over 24.5GB of storage, which is half of the total size of the whole game (45.5GB).
This mod offers re-encoded the videos into a lower bitrate (5~6mbps) shrinking the file size to 5.8GB. The lower bitrate movies reduces the stutter during movies allowing the game run better. Virtually no discernible visual fidelity is lost.
Installation:
1. Backup your \NieRAutomata\data\movie folder
2. Drag/unzip the "data" folder from the zip to your NieR installation folder
3. When asked click "Replace All"
4. Done!!
