Windows 7 Fix is a mod for Mafia: Definitiver Edition. It’s based on open-source DXVK project by doitsujin.
Description:
Allows you to play the game on Windows 7 without errors.
To install:
1) Go to "C:\Users\Your Username\Documents\my games\Mafia Definitive Edition\Saves"
2) Edit launcconfig.cfg with notepad and change to: 0 0 0
3) Save, exit, open videoconfig.cfg and change the beginning
(you can leave the long random number at the end, just focus on this part)
to: -6 0 1920 1080 0 0 0 0
This will set your game to windowed mode, where it must remain.
4) Copy all DLL files from this folder to game root
5) Run the game with mafiadefinitiveedition.exe, not launcher.exe
