Freelancer Original No-CD EXE is a fix for Freelancer, created by FriendlyFire.

Description:

This is the one and only no-CD exe for Freelancer distributed with certain legal copies of the game. It removes the CD check at the start of the game, therefore allowing you to play the game without having the CD in your disk drive.

This is absolutely cruicial, because Freelancer uses SafeDisk copy protection, which doesn’t work under newest OS.

Instructions:

Replace this EXE file with the Freelancer.exe in your game folder (EXE subfolder).
