The Magnificence of Decay is a mod for Far Cry, created by Ambient_Malice.

Description:

The Magnificence of Decay is a Total Conversion Far Cry Modification which places you in a small, explorable urban environment. There are no goals, except to explore and experience.

This is the first public release of The Magnificence of Decay. It’s estimated that the mod contains about 1-3 hours of content in the form of areas to explore, secrets to find, and text to read.

How to install:

1 - Copy the contents of the archive, ('TMoD' folder) into the Far Cry\Mods folder of your Far Cry installation.

2 - Boot Far Cry and select the mod from the Mods menu.

3 - Alternate Step - There is a .bat file inside the TMoD folder named 'Run TMoD.bat.' Right click on it and select Create Shortcut. Drag this shortcut to your desktop or wherever else you find convenient. Kind of ugly boot mechanism, but it works. (Note: You must do this AFTER copying mod into Far Cry\Mods folder, okay?)

4- I recommend running at maximum settings. Unless you videocard has less than 1GB VRAM, in which case select Medium texture detail. (Very High Textures use about 560MB VRAM.)
