Better Very Hard Mode is a mod for Fallout: New Vegas, created by ThatsSo.
Description:
In the vanilla Fallout game, the "Very Hard" difficulty is rather disappointing. Even players who have played the game thoroughly and want a real challenge play on Hard mode. Rather than requiring you to act quicker or approach the enemy's in creative ways, it just makes killing them take longer. Bullet sponges and artificial difficulty, you could say.This, rather simple mod, changes that. Rather than a single player feel, it gives the game an online shooter feeling. You have to act quick. If multiple enemy's see you, it's pretty much over unless you take advantage of cover. Combat-wise, it turn's New Vegas into an entirely new game. As a person with over 700 hours in the game who got rather bored of it, my idea for this new mod certainly brought me back.
To install use Nexus Mod Manager.
If you're going to use this mod change your difficulty setting in-game to "Very Hard" This mod will not effect you in any way if you are not on very hard mode.
