Gene Splicing Cost Reduced is a mod for Endless Space 2, created by aazzoggerr.
Description:
This mod changes the cost of Gene Splicing to 1, so you need only one population from faction to splice it and get bonuses. This cost does NOT increase with splicing and remains 1 for every splice. Food consumption penalties from splicing are unchanged.
Instructions:
1. Go to Documents/Endless Space 2/Community and extract mod’s archive to that location (If there is no Community folder, make one and then make sure GeneSplicingCostRedused is in it)
2. Now in Documents/Endless Space 2/Community/GeneSplicingCostRedused there should be 3 files (GeneSplicingCostRedused.xml, GeneSplicingCostRedused.png and Registry.xml)
3. Launch Game and select MODS from main menu, then select the Gene Splicing Cost Redused that should have "Local" on it and apply.
