Dying Light 2 - Swap Button A and RB for Gamepad v.1.2 - Game mod - Download

Swap Button A and RB for Gamepad is a mod for Dying Light 2, created by kreig.

Description (in author’s own words):

For players who use xobx controller and don‘t like the dying light 2 input preset, this mod swap Button A&RB so you can use button A to jump and use RB to use consumable.

Since I found Dying Light 2 use the same structure to store game resources as Dying Light 1, I try to use the same way to modify the game. This is a little attempt.

?This mod simply swap Button A and RB , so you can use button A to jump and RB to use consumable. I try to swap the two keys in all the actions but haven't test them. Jumping and swimming is ok in game, but not sure if it works on hook and glider(I haven't played this part yet), so if it doesn't work please send message to me, I will try to fix it.

Install:

1. Save your Game directory\ph\source\Data0.pak

2. overwriting this "Inputs_pad.scr" to your game directory\ph\source\Data0.pak --> data\scripts\inputs\inputs_pad.scr (you may use any compression software to open "Data0.pak" like winRar or 7z)

3. run game & enjoy.

Problem:

The cross UI in the lower left corner of the screen still shows using consumable by A but actually using RB, I can't change it

Do remember to back up Data0.pak in case of any problems

Not sure how this mod will affect online games
