Increases how long day/night cycles last by 2x.

Saw that no one has included a mod that increases how long time actually passes aside from one extreme so I'm here to provide it.

Default Realtime Info

Time in Dying Light 2 is broken up into 3 different types: Daytime, Nighttime, and Interior time. Day and night are 12 hours long and interiors actually slows down time significantly. I'll list the default values below.

During the day:

A single hour passes in 3 minutes and 20 seconds.

Daytime lasts for 40 minutes

During night:

A single hour passes in 1 minutes and 40 seconds

Nighttime lasts for 20 minute

While indoors:

A single hour passes in 6 minutes

Day cycle (regardless) lasts 1hrs and 12 minutes

What's Changed

Note: The values in the file is actually 2x more than it actually uses to calculate time. So the following is what they actually are in real time.

2x Time

Daytime : 1 hr = 6min 40sec | 1 Day = 1hr 20min

Nighttime :1 hr = 3min 20sec | 1 Night = 40min

Indoors : 1 hr = 12min | 1 Day/Night = 2hr 24min

Installation

PAK Version (Can have conflicts with other mods)

Drop into: steamapps\common\Dying Light 2\ph\source

Already have data3.pak?

Then change the number at the end to be one higher than what is already there.

Already have dw_weather_def.scr or want to change it to your liking?

You can open the scr file with Notepad or Notepad++ and modify the times yourself. I've placed the default values in the comment after each variable you need to change. The value is in seconds for a full 24 hr cycle. So if you want nights to last 30 minutes real time you do the following math:

?30 minutes > seconds = 1800 * 24 = 43200

This is not compatible with any mod that changes "dw_weather_def.scr" !
