GZDoom is a source port for the modern era, supporting current hardware and operating systems and sporting a vast array of user options. Make Doom your own again! In addition to Doom and Doom II, GZDoom supports Heretic, Hexen, Strife, Chex Quest, and fan-created games like Harmony and Hacx.

It;s also the base of modern modding, thanks to advanced mapping features and the new ZScript language, which allows for creation of projects much more complex than what is possibile in base version of idTech1.

How to use

Extract to new folder. Put game’s WAD files there too, along with any mods. Run game/mod by dragging it’s file into GZDoom.exe.
