Darkest Hour Soby is a mod for Darkest Hour, created by Decadent_Prince.

Description:

This Mod allows you to play as a late-Victorian nation from 1881 to 1915.

Features include:

- Start dates of 1881 and 1899

- A fantasy scenario of African-only nations

- A combat simulator for testing purposes

- Aggressive AI makes many grand alliances and fuels seeds for a World War in the pre-Dreadnought age

Issues:

- No real events (except random ones)

- Some boundary adjustments may need to be made

One of the main reasons for making this mod was to allow extensive pre-dreadnought combat (these ships are overshadowed in WW1) and to allow a more war themed play of the late-Victorian era.

From these start dates you have a chance to take control of erstwhile absent or weak countries in the Vanilla game such as Qing China, the Ottoman Empire, Spain or one of the emerging Great Powers and lead them to world domination!

To install the mod extract into „...Darkest Hour\Mods” and activate in game’s menu.

This mod was tested on Darkest Hour Patch 1.03
